(December 3, 2024) The Ulfberht swords are a group of about 170 medieval swords found primarily in Northern Europe dating to between 800 and 1100 CE with blades inlaid with similar but not exactly the same inscriptions. The average inscription is similar to TVLFBERHT which give them their name of Ulfberht. The swords are at the transitional point between the Viking sword and the high medieval knightly sword when at least some Druid Akkadian was still known by their users.
The Druid sun and storm god Hu is often mentioned by these swords.
All their runic text styles are Danish.
